FAQs About KidsPoint Reopening

What will KidsPoint do to keep your child safe?

We will sanitize surfaces, toys, books, etc. before and after service. Children will be educated to maintain appropriate personal space while participating in no touch activities at the beginning of each worship service. Volunteers will be asked to not serve if not feeling well within the last 24 hours or if they have a temperature over 100.4 degrees.

How can you help keep KidsPoint safe?

For the protection of all children in KidsPoint, please follow these guidelines in determining if you should bring your child to church. A well child has:

· No fever over 100.4 currently or within the last 24 hours.

· No vomiting or diarrhea currently or within the last 24 hours.

· No runny nose.

· No cough.

· No unexplained rashes.

· No skin infections.

· No eye infections.

· No childhood diseases such as chicken pox, mumps, measles, etc.

How do you check my children in?

KidsPoint will have one volunteer running our electronic check in system for all families. Before checking your child in, we will check your child’s temperature with a non-contact thermometer. Following CDC guidelines, any child with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will not be allowed to be checked-in. We advise to check your child’s temperature at home if you are concerned.

Where will KidsPoint classrooms be located?

Nursery (0-3 years) will be located on the main floor directly behind our checkin station. PreK-5th grade will be located downstairs. Volunteers will be positioned to assist you and your child to the correct room so you can have the best experience possible. We are here to help!

Where do you pick your children up at?

Children in the nursery will be picked up in the nursery where they were dropped off. PreK-5th grade children will be at the top of the stairs in the foyer.

What if you're not ready to sign your child into KidsPoint?

We respect the decision of all our parents! As always, children are welcome to sit in service with their parents. Family seating will also be setup in the foyer. Clipboards and crayons will be available for your kids. KidsPoint will be ready to have your children as soon as you are ready!
